ServicesKay provides therapy for adoptive families and adult adoptees. She is passionate about building connections between people. Kay has extensive experience with attachment issues. She uses a combination of approaches, including: Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Trust Based Relational Therapy, Brain Gym, Rhythmic Movement, and EMDR. Kay also does public speaking about adoption and parenting issues.

Kay received her master's degree in Social Work from UIC Jane Addams in 1989. She worked for a large social service agency from 1990-1997. Since 1997, she has been providing therapy in a private practice setting.

Kay has been married for 39 years. She has 4 adult children, 2 by birth and 2 by international adoption. In addition to being a therapist, Kay enjoys tutoring children.
